Lorelei LeFae What I listened to most in 2008. Jan 3, 2009 8:01 PM I can't believe I am just now discovering this group. I should pay more attention around here! :P As an introduction, I thought I'd post a few of the songs that I had on repeat frequently in 2008. Some is new, some is old - all good. :pimp: Above all MGMT was my favorite find - I have listened to the Oracular Spectacular countless times and it never gets old! Weekend Wars was my morning alarm clock for a long time. My poor husband developed a love/hate relationship with it :rotfl: Weekend Wars - MGMT I was obsessed with getting Mellowdrone album, Box ever since hearing Bone Marrow on my favorite online radio show, Guilty Pleasure on East Village Radio. Once I finally got my hands on it, I had Bone Marrow on repeat for a bit. I still include it on my mixes frequently. 12 Bone Marrow.wma - My always - The Walkmen came out with a new album in 2008. They also came to see me in Austin back in October. :bcbw: In the New Year - The Walkmen I was also stoked beyond belief that Portishead finally released Third! I will follow them always. :notworthy: 1 Silence - Portishead This makes me move: Ce Jeu (The Twelves Remix) - Yelle Lights And Music - Cut Copy Shadows - Midnight Juggernauts :dance:

Ice_Queen Shontelle - Battle Cry (Barbados) Sep 27, 2008 9:50 AM 24 year old singer/songwriter from the caribbean island of Barbados (also hailing from there is my girl Rihanna!). Her album Shontelligence is coming out in November. She is on Myspace (Shontelle Layne) and i THINK you can find her songs on itunes. I AM SO INLOVE with this song!! Can check out some of the other songs from her by putting in any of the tags i have listed or visit my page if you like what you hear ....
